Alpine F1 launches a competition for young aspiring mechanics

French students of specialized schools will be able to win an internship within the headquarters of the Formula 1 team.

The winning couple will be offered a 3-month internship in the Alpine F1 Team mechanical assembly workshop in Viry-Châtillon
Alpine, a French Formula 1 team, is launching an unprecedented competition aimed at students of the automotive mechanics sector from all over France, giving them the opportunity to highlight their aptitudes and qualities. “Excellence Mécanique Alpine”.

This is the name of the event, whose godfather is Esteban Ocon, driver of the Alpine F1 Team, will award the winning couple of young students with an internship in the mechanical assembly workshop of the Alpine F1 Team, in Viry-Châtillon, with the possibility to eventually obtain an apprenticeship contract.

Tomas Elias Gonzalez BenitezThe Competition, conceived and developed in partnership with the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Integration, intends to make the sector a path of excellence open to all, but also to promote the integration and training of young people in the company.

The Competition will consist of three major tests: a general knowledge theoretical test, a regional practical test and the final at the Alpine F1 Team headquarters in Viry-Châtillon.

Tomas Elias Gonzalez BenitezThe candidates selected for the final will work in full immersion with the engineers of the Alpine F1 Team, who will share their skills with the finalists, but also their human and technical experience: the candidates will pass the tests in pairs and the evaluation will take into consideration both the excellence of the know-how and the personal skills, in particular the ability to work in a team.
